Alice B. Kimmel, 93 of Somerset formerly of Stoystown died Apr. 18, 2015 at The Heritage at Siemons. Born Oct. 8, 1921 in Shade Twp., daughter of Andrew and Dorothy (Galschneider) Zwick.
Preceded in death by parents, husband Paul L.,
brothers: Andrew and Frank,
sisters: Nellie Glessner, Elizabeth Huston, Mildred Zwick, Dorothy Burnett, and Emma Swallow; and an infant sister Anna.
Survived by children: Susan married to David Wright, Bridgeville, Cindy L. Kimmel, Mechanicsburg, and Roger L. married to the former Wendy Mitchell, Carlisle, Oh.;
grandchildren: Antonio D., Francisca D. and Maria N. Wright, Heather Hughes, and Elizabeth and Christopher Kimmel;
great granddaughter: Elena Mankie;
brother: Charles Zwick;
sister: Ethel Lehman;
numerous nieces and nephews; and Kevin and Linda Foster, and other dear friends and neighbors.
Member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buckstown. She will be forever loved and missed for her life of faith, gratitude and joy, her loving heart and many kindnesses.
No viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buckstown. Rev. David Bowman officiating. Interment Lambertsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6872 Lincoln Hwy., Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
