Barry Lee “Butch” Holland, 75, Berlin, died May 22, 2017 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born Nov. 4, 1941 in Somerset, son of James and Mary (Sisco) Holland. Preceded in death by parents, brother Terry, and sister Sandra Sosby. Survived by his wife the former Carole Jeanne Landis, daughters Lani Holland, Somerset, and Lori Holland, Orlando, FL, and his only grandchild Emily Fisher, his pride and joy that he taught to garden (peas they planted she can eat soon), fish, hit and catch a baseball, and taught her the value of a penny earned and saving with their trips to the bank.. He was a US Army Vietnam War veteran and was a retired equipment operator for PBS Coal. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, American Legion Post 445, Berlin, and was a life member of VFW Post 7295, Berlin and the Berlin V.F.D. A graveside memorial service will be held Thurs. June 1, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Rev. Scott Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers (allergies), contributions may be given to In Touch Hospice, P.O.
