Betty L. Ludy, 85, Berlin, went to be with the Lord Dec. 15, 2017. Born March 17, 1932 in Johnsburg, daughter of Clarence and Bessie (Brick) Emerick. Preceded in death by parents, husband Victor, and grandsons Joseph Donaldson Jr. and Colten Day. Survived by children: Gloria Coover and friend Gary Brumbaugh, Florida, Victor E. Ludy married to the former Carol Hetz, Meyersdale, and Kristine married to Steven Day, Meyersdale; grandchildren: Courtney Coover and fiance’ A.J. D’Abbracci, Adam (Brandy) Coover, Jolene Ludy and fiance’ Eric Steinly, Jennifer (Robert) Knopsnyder, Victor (Misty) Ludy, Jr., Jan (Tim) Abraham, Kaeli Day and fiance’ Steven Haer, and Hunter Day and friend Olivia Kretchman; great grandchildren: Jennica, Landon, Tara, Robert Jr., Katlyn, Destiny, Tim Jr., Emily, Skylar, Madilyn, and Makenna. She was a retired nurses assistant from former Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin. Attended Shanksville Assembly of God. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and spending time with her grandkids.
