Bruce Stoughton Maust, 54, Jennerstown, died May 14, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Oct. 30, 1962 in Somerset, son of Regina (Kilchenstein) Maust, of Jennerstown, and the late Lewis G. Maust, Jr.
Also survived by children: Sunday Maust and Alex Maust, both of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters and brothers: Michelle Maust, Elizabeth (Stephen) Eubanks, Timothy (Ann-Kathryn) Maust, Michael (Melissa) Maust, Nicole (Raul) Eusantos, and Mary (Jeremy) Deaner; niece and nephews: Ian, Logan, Stephen, Jacob, Joshua, Connor, Sam, Grace, Canyon, and Tobin.
He was a 1980 graduate of North Star High School. Graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Old Dominion University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Senior design engineer for nuclear submarines in Norfolk, VA for 28 ½ years. He loved snow and water sports, carpentry, and spending time with family and friends on Stoughton Lake.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs. at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 11 a.m. Fri.
