Caroll Lynn Montgomery, 81, Friedens and Englewood, FL. passed peacefully Dec. 24, 2017 at Tuscan Gardens Assisted Living in Venice, FL. Born Nov. 7, 1936 in Johnstown, daughter of Ralph E. and Edna L. (Lease) Montgomery. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Dr. George Montgomery, Jr. who passed April 19, 1996. Survived by children: Lynn Allison (Dean) Watkins, Naples, FL and Steven Eric (Donna) Morocco, Burlington, NJ; stepchildren: George Montgomery III, Dana (Hiram) Carpenter, Thaddeus (Kris) Montgomery, Mark Montgomery, Russell (Ann) Montgomery, Richard Montgomery, and Matthew (Kiersten) Montgomery; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly. Also survived by grandchildren: Morgan Elizabeth Morocco and Matthew Morocco; sisters: Kay Westerfeld, Englewood, FL and Judy (Steve) Hemenway, Marietta, GA; and brother John (Maxine) Montgomery, Mechanicsburg. A Retired Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Somerset Hospital. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran Church, Englewood, FL. A visitation will be held Friday, May 25th from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Friedens Lutheran Church.
