Ernest Raymond Crummett, 88, of Hooversville (Blough), died Apr. 11, 2016 at home. Born Oct. 21, 1927 in Moyers, W.Va., son of Charlie and Eliza Roxy (Bennett) Crummett.
Preceded in death by parents, wives Ada (Miller) Crummett and Marian (Watkins) Miller-Crummett, sister Mary Rose Worley, and brother Charlie Crummett.
Survived by son David Crummett; stepsons Harold W. Miller Sr., and James E. (Eileen) Miller, all of Hooversville; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister Martha Hottle; and brother Galen Crummett.
He was a 1946 graduate of Franklin High School, W. Va., and a Korean War Army Veteran. Retired from the former U.S. Bank, Johnstown. Member of Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren, and Hooversville V.F.W.
Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Rev. Ronald Beachley officiating. Interment Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
