Everett Eugene Nicklow, 85, Berlin, died Feb. 13, 2016 at home. Born July 23, 1930 in Markleton, son of Orion and Nannie (Saylor) Nicklow. Preceded in death by parents, brother Clark, and great grandson Jeremiah Marsh. Survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Mary Cramer; children: Cindy married to Wayne Kalp, Gloria married to Jim Wieand, Eugene Nicklow, Marianne married to Dr. Sebastian Lipinski, Dr. John Nicklow married to the former Stacy Sontheimer, and Eric Nicklow married to the former Aimee Lasky; grandchildren: Crystal Keyser, Joe, Matthew, Mark, and David Kalp; Anna and Jamie Wieand, Maryssa Nicklow, Aliya, Lauren, and Alivia Lipinski, Ethan, Cameron, and Alayna Nicklow; great grandchildren: Victoria, Isaiah, Josiah, Lydia, Tyler, Wyatt, Wesley, Alexus, and Naomi Kalp; Triston, Shaun, and Jacob Marsh; and Grace Keyser; brothers and sisters: Louise Kreger, Shirley Hoffman, Dale Nicklow, Cora Lee Tressler, and Howard Nicklow. He was a 1948 graduate of Rockwood High School, a 1952 graduate of Penn State with a B.S. Degree; and a 1957 graduate of Penn State with a Master’s Degree in Education. He was a teacher at Northern Wayne High School and Berlin Brothersvalley High School; and served as the Director at Somerset Vo-Tech for 21 years. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin; Berlin Lions Club since 1956 (King Lion in 1966), Valley Grange, advisor and honorary member of Berlin Brothersvalley FFA, Board of Vocational Rehabilitation program at PA Dept. of Corrections, and founder of the Young Farmers Program at Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a Lions Club service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Monday. Viewing from 9:30 until service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Rev. Heidi Holst officiating, assisted by Charles Dunn..
