            Floyd Max Gaster, Sr., 84 of New Holland, formerly of West Chester died Nov. 4, 2013 at Garden Spot Village, New Holland.  Born Apr. 14, 1929 in Chester, son of Newton C. and Freda (Hileman) Gaster.  Preceded in death by parents, step mother Margaret, and first wife the former Frances Schulte. 

Survived by his second wife the former Shirley Knoll; children: Debby (Bruce) Yockey, Bremen, Ind., and Floyd Max (Susan) Gaster Jr., Elkton, Md.; grandchildren: Erin and Matthew Gaster; step daughter Bernadette (Caldon)  Driscoll, West Chester; and step grandson Caldon Driscoll.

He was a Korean War Army Veteran and retired from Sun Oil Co.

Member of Ascension Episcopal Church, Claymont, and Brandywine Lodge 33 F.&A.M.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.  Pastor Chet Yoder officiating.  Masonic Service by Brandywine Lodge 33 F.&A.M.
