We moved into their neighborhood during the summer and once fall arrived the Gumberts and their friendly waves greeted me on my way to pick up Emily from the van most every day during the fall. As our life was full of change and challenge their reassuring presence on the porch or in the garage most afternoons along with their smiles and friendly waves brought a much needed sense of peace and consistency to our lives. It may have only been a few moments each day but they made a difference for us. We are keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers.
