Joann T. Shaw, 79, of Somerset formerly of Stoystown, died May 26, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 14, 1936 in Markleysburg, daughter of Joshua B. and Helen Cora (Stoppe) Tallentire. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 25 years Carl E. St. Clair, husband of 35 years Albert A. Shaw, son Wayne E. St. Clair, and brother J.D. Tallentire. Survived by son Kenneth St. Clair, Somerset; granddaughter Michelle L. married to Chad Noss, Somerset; great grandson Aric E.B. St. Clair; step great granddaughters: Gabriel Noss and fiancé Bryce Morris, and Kylee Noss; step daughters: Almeda and Althea Shaw; sister Fern married to Joe Gregg; brothers Thomas Tallentire and James (Lois) Tallentire; sister-in-law Barbara married to Marvin Stanley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Former weigh master at Fetterolf Mining. She was involved in selling used cars, rental units, and a long-time notary in the Stoystown area. She loved to crochet. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12th at Kantner Assembly of God. Rev. Tim Farkas officiating.
