Joyce Ann (Wheeler) Kennedy

Joyce Ann Kennedy, 77, Stoystown, died July 20, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 2, 1939 in Stoystown, daughter of Lester and Helen (Escherich) Wheeler. Preceded in death by parents, brother Allen Wheeler, and son-in-law Christopher John Tressler. Survived by her husband of 47 years James L.; sons: Johnny (Lynn), Joe (Marsha), Rick (Lori), and Darin (Kim) Nemchik; daughters: Cheryl “Gigi” (Brad) Musser, June (Brad) Grosshans, and Tammy Tressler; brother and sisters: Victor (Wanda) Wheeler, Tanis (Bob) Lepley, and Penny (Wayne) Wiltrout; sister-in-law Eva Wheeler; special friend Sandy Dunmyer; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a retired waitress from Emerald Park and Kings Family Restaurant. She had a love for her family, horses, and all animals. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. David L. Bowman officiating.
