Judith “Judy” (Adams) Lockett-Shaffer, 75, Hooversville, died Mar. 23, 2018 at home. Born Dec. 25, 1942 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert and Romaine (Hileman) Adams. Preceded in death by parents, step father Wilbert Allshouse, step mother Delores (Diamond) Adams, husband Daniel “Cork” Shaffer, step daughter Gretchen Shaffer, and brothers-in-law Jan Dick Shaffer and Jack Shaffer. Survived by son Michael Lockett married to the former Becky Mort, Central City; step children: Rick Shaffer married to the former Paula Sigmund, Washington, Kim married to Don Gauronski, Riverside, CA, Brooke Shaffer and special friend Dale Shannon, Stoystown, and Brooke’s dog Molly; grandchildren: Ethan and MacKenzie Lockett, Kelly Hinson, Bridgette, Wendy, Mathew, Daniel, and Suzanne Shaffer, Melanie Boyer, Daniel (Eddie) Gauronski, George Neuhof, Karly Miranda, and Chris Gisbrecht; 13 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Bob (Diane) Adams, New York, Linda Units, Pittsburgh, ex brother-in-law Tony, Roy (Donna) Adams, Maryland, and Kim (Ray) Katrancha, Dunlo; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and uncle Ted Adams. She was a retired Manager for Hooversville Borough. Member Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, Hooversville Lions Club, and a life member of Hooversville V.F.W. Post 7565 Ladies Auxiliary. There will be no viewing at the request of the deceased. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville. Rev.
