Keith G. Menser, 51, Friedens, passed away on October 11, 2017 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born October 25, 1965 in Dayton, OH at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Son of George and Carol (Walker) Menser II. Preceded in death by grandparents Frederick and Ruth Walker, George Menser and Helen Beal. Survived by his parents; his "Serendipity" family, Tammy (Ferchalk) Younkin, Zach Ferchalk and Bonnie Younkin, all of Friedens. Also, his brother Kevin (Sarah) Menser; nephews Kobi and Korbin Menser and niece Kiley Menser, all of Cantonment, FL. Keith was a 1983 graduate of Meyersdale High School. He began his career as a Paramedic in 1992 and served with Somerset Area Ambulance until he could no longer work. Keith fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. He truly portrayed how to never let disease stop you from pushing forward. During his time at home he developed a great love for our pets, those still with us and those at the Rainbow Bridge. Keith had a support system beyond belief and we couldn't be more touched by each of those family and friends. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service at 7 p.m. Saturday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. The Pastor Andy Gannon officiating. Private inurnment at Fritz Cemetery, Meyersdale.
