Laura “Mary” Landis, 94, Berlin, died July 27, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale. Born May 10, 1921 in Northampton Township, daughter of Bruce and Elma (Martz) Lane. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 65 years Robert “Pap” Landis; brothers: Walter, Robert, Charles, Harry, John, and an infant; and sister Mildred Lane. Survived by sons: Donald married to the former Polly Flamm, John R. married to the former Laurie Snyder, and Robert Jr. married to the former Teresa Landis, all of Berlin; grandchildren: Tricia (Kevin) Fogle, Kevin (Sandy) Landis, Joel (Tiffany) Landis, Bob (Amanda) Landis, and Jessica (Lee) Codispoti; step grandchildren: Matthew Young, Heather (Erik) Wilt, and Ashley (Carson) Baldwin; great grandchildren: Autumn and Austin Fogle, Kylie, Savannah, Dylan, Heath, and Hayden Landis; step great granddaughter: Ella Wilt; sister-in-law: Edna Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews. She attended Brushcreek School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. She enjoyed quilting, truck and tractor pulls, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Frank Demmy officiating. Interment Mt.
