Lois (Wysocki) Brant

Lois M. Brant, 72, Berlin (Stonycreek Twp.), went to be with the Lord Aug. 6, 2017 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born June 23, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of Leonard and Alice G. (Buckalew) Wysocki. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard; children: Daniel R. and Frederick R. married to the former Amy Maust, both of Berlin, and Sheila Brant, Wiley Ford, W. Va.; grandchildren: Levi, Will, and Cyrus; and brothers: Rev. Allan Wysocki and wife Bonnie, Glenn Rock, and James Wysocki and wife Marcia, Stoystown. She was a 1963 graduate of Berwick High School and a 1967 graduate of Penn State. She was retired from Bedford-Somerset MHMR. Member of Unity United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and played the organ and piano. She also played for Roxbury Trinity United Church of Christ. Lois filled her days with kindness and compassion and knew just when someone needed a visit, a smile, a ride, or if you were fortunate, a piece of her blue ribbon apple pie! Though she has entered into Heaven’s rest, her contagious laugh and joyful spirit will live on in all of us who have been blessed to have known and loved her. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs. at Unity United Church of Christ, 2074 Huckleberry Hwy., Berlin, PA 15530, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Fri. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating. Interment Glade Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Unity U.C.C. P.O.
