Richard Lee “Putty” Burkett, 81, Confluence formerly of Wilbur, died August 22, 2017 at Comforts of Home, Confluence. Born February 22, 1936, son of John C. and Mary (Redhead) Burkett. Preceded in death by parents, and brother Donald C. Burkett. Survived by his sister in-law Darlene Burkett, Chambersburg, and her family. He was a former employee of Oaks Poultry. Family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, followed by a graveside service at 3:15 p.m. at Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur. Pastor Wanda Ross officiating.
