Richard D. Greene Sr.

Richard D. Greene Sr., 71, Stoystown, died April 11, 2015 in North East, Maryland.  Born April 15, 1943 in Nashville, son of Ralph and Ruby (Rothwill) Greene.  Preceded in death by parents; wife of 50 years, the former Joyce Boyer; and son Richard Jr.

            Survived by daughter Renea Hardin; grandchildren: Jessica Mazzone, Amanda Bly, Rick Kohan, Hillary and Christopher Hardin, Rebecca Martin, and James Criswell;

great grandchildren: Madalyn McClellan, John M. Noll Jr., Odin Migliaccio, Anthony Bly, Luke Winning, Shane and Hailey Foust, Ericka Martin, and Aubree Criswell; and

sister Sandy Bennett.

            He was a US Navy veteran and a retired commercial truck driver.  He enjoyed playing billiards and fishing.

            Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Rev. Cletus Leasure officiating.  Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Graveside Military Honors provided by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
