Terry L. Swank

Terry L. Swank, 64, Stoystown, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 6, 2015 at home. Born Nov. 10, 1950 in Somerset, son of the late Clarence and Hazel (Stutzman) Swank. Survived by his wife of 43 years the former Connie Phillips; daughters: Christy Reed, Kimmelton, and Tonia Caola and husband Joseph, Hooversville; grandchildren: Sarah and Abigail Reed, and Noah and Isabella Caola; sister Mary Jane Palinkas and husband Michael, Somerset; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was a 1970 graduate of Somerset High School and formerly employed by PBS Coal. Member of Mostoller United Methodist Church where he served on numerous committees, NRA, National Wild Turkey Federation, AYSO soccer coach, and had served as assistant softball coach for North Star High School. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, mowing his yard, campfires with his family, and the great outdoors. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mostoller United Methodist Church, 549 Pompey Hill Rd., Stoystown, PA 15563. Viewing from 9:30 until service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Rev. Heidi Helsel officiating. Interment church cemetery.
