Jeffrey Thomas Knepper

Jeffrey Thomas Knepper, 53, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2024.  Born November 12, 1970 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by grandparents Dorothy Teeter and Reba Atwell, as well as infant sister, Janie Ann. Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Jennifer (Martin) Knepper; children Douglas and Nathan; parents Thomas A. and Jane (Teeter) Knepper; brother Thomas M. (Jayme) Knepper; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as niece Dane and nephew Brayden. Jeff is a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and a 1988 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech.  Jeff was loved by all who knew him and was always willing to lend a hand.  Jeff loved spending time with his wife at their Delaware home, fishing in the Atlantic Ocean in their Grady-White.  Jeff loved being a scouting parent/leader with Troop 2025 where both of his children earned their Eagle Scout.  Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman until his health wouldn’t allow, but still found the time to teach his youngest son hunting skills. If you knew Jeff, he had a contagious smile and loved to make people laugh.  Everyone loved spending time with him and he will forever be missed but never forgotten. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Friedens Lutheran Church, 131 S. Main St., Friedens, PA. Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church with friends and family being received one hour prior to the service.  Rev. John Barichivich officiating.
