Margie “Gram” Hittie, 80, Berlin, died March 31, 2024 at The Patriot. Born December 3, 1943 in Confluence, daughter of Edgar and Dolly (Zimmerman) Holliday. Preceded in death by parents, husband Blaine Hittie, Sr., brother Paul Holliday, infant brother Miles Holliday, and sisters Hilda Ream and Waneda Meager. Survived by children: Blaine Hittie, Jr. and Marcie (Mike) Simmons; step daughter Deby Hittie; grandchildren: Amy (Lee) Sheets, Catelyn Will, Allison Hittie, Jacob Hittie, Brandy (Mike) Shepley, Leah (Landon) Wahl, and Alexis (Colten) Hutchens; great grandchildren: Isaac and Eliza Sheets, Gabriel and Aileen Will, Gannon, Macie, Nash, and Heath Shepley, Mia, Iris, and Hank Wahl, and Cash and Lainey Hutchens; sister Evelyn (George) Shafer; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. She loved operating the Hittie Sugar Camp with her husband and family. She was a judge at the Berlin Community Fair for many years. Margie loved baking, cooking, canning, and hosting family dinners. In her younger years, she loved playing music and dancing with her husband and friends. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Sam Coughenour officiating. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F.
