Anna Jean (Seese) Maxwell

Anna Jean Maxwell, 91, Windber, formerly of Hooversville, died Aug. 28, 2017 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Nov. 8, 1925 in Ferndale, daughter of William Harvey and Ruth (Eva) Seese. Preceded in death by parents, husband John Edward, brothers William Harvey and Jerome Richard; sisters Doretta Pasquerilla and Elva Seclora Newberry, and granddaughter Judy Ann Maxwell. Survived by sons Charles Edward married to the former Ruby Ellen Birch, Johnstown and Dwayne Allen married to the former Nancy Carol Birch, Hooversville; grandchildren: Carol Jean Burket, Charlene Tammy Trimeloni, Edward Dale Maxwell, Mark Wayne Maxwell, Stacey Lynn Redmon, Richard Allen Maxwell, and Brandon John Maxwell; great grandchildren: Jessica Burket, Gregory Burket, Stephanie Trimeloni, Zachary Burket, Alyssa Trimeloni, Nicholas Redmon, Ashley Redmon, Madison Maxwell, Ean Maxwell, and Breanna Maxwell; and great great grandchildren: Esme Burket, Hadley Burket, and Gage Burket. She and her husband ran a Shade Twp. dairy farm. Former employee of Bestform, Windber. Member of Ridge Church of the Brethren. She was a former volunteer supervisor of the Candy-Striper program at the Church of the Brethren Home. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Sharon Fox officiating.
