Anna Mae “Mazie” Griffith, 87, Indian Lake, died June 29, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 6, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Frank and Sophia (Kitsko) Sax. Preceded in death by parents, husband Dr. Glenn G. “Doc” Griffith, brothers Valentine, Stephen, Frank Jr., William, and Edward, and sister Irene. Survived by sons Keith married to the former Marsha Wilson, Richland, Mark married to the former Margaret “Peggy” McSorley, Pittsburgh, and Jeffry married to the former Cindy Dorich, Indian Lake; grandchildren: Jared (Jen) Griffith, Kayla (Chris) Schultz, and Paul, Brian, and Leah Griffith; great grandchildren: Lily, Lucie, Ryan, Audrey, and Stella; sister Delores married to John Kasper; and brother Carl Sax married to the former Carol Bittman. Member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Buckstown. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, cooking, gardening, and volunteering. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday July 7th at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Buckstown. Rev. David Bowman officiating. Inurnment Buckstown Cemetery.
