Arthur Tracy "Sam" Jerin

Arthur Tracy “Sam” Jerin, 86, of Berlin formerly of Hooversville, died Oct. 6, 2019 at home. Born May 22, 1933 in Wilbur, son of Jule and Nora (Kilgore) Jerin. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Diane Rosey, son Jeffrey Jerin, four sisters, and one brother. Survived by his wife of 67 years the former Peggy Paxton; children: Arthur (Christine) Jerin Jr., Thresa (Randall) Lane, Pamela (Timothy) Weible, Randy Jerin, Jacqueline Eubanks, Cindy (Roy) Hummel, Timothy (Wanda) Jerin, Laurie (Brandon) Pletcher, and Lisa (Jesse) Broadwater; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was a retired carpenter. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 12 noon Thursday at Kantner United Methodist Church. Rev.
