Betty Lou Fritz, 87, of Maysville, NC, formerly of Shanksville, died Oct. 23, 2017 in Morehead City, NC. Born May 23, 1930 in Shanksville, daughter of the late Harry H. and Freda A. (McNeal) Fritz. Survived by sister Elsie Jean McClucas; niece: Holly Jean Thompson and husband Brian, Sebastian, FL and her children Laura Jean and Nathaniel Alexander Thompson. She is a 1948 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School. Retired from Snyder of Berlin and attended Maysville United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Nov. 2 at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3. Randy Miller officiating.
