Carl Brick Obituary

Carl A. Brick, 81, Fairhope, died March 23, 2018 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born Aug. 17, 1936 in Johnsburg, son of Edison G. and Laura (Emerick) Brick. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers Robert, Freeman, and Wilfred. Survived by wife of 58 years the former Sara Jane Leecy; son Jeffrey married to the former Donna Brant, Fairhope; grandson Jeremy; and sister Hazel Hillegas, Friedens. He attended Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a former employee of George Zimmerman Lumber and former truck driver for Poorbaugh Lumber Co. and JCM Industries. Former member of Mt. Lebanon Church and former groundskeeper at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. No public visitation or service. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Mardiann Vincent officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Somerset In Touch Hospice, P.O. Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501.
