Clair S. Weyant, 92, Berlin, formerly of Shanksville, died Aug. 17, 2018 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born July 5, 1926 in Weyant (Osterburg), son of Harmon and Alma (Snyder) Weyant. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Luke McClellan, sisters: Hazel Gindlesperger, Olive Gooden, and Lois Miller, and brothers Howard and Ross Weyant. Survived by his wife of 68 years, the former Dorothy Miller; children: Carol Weyant, Terry (Angie) Weyant, Donald (Gloria) Weyant, Susan (Gregory) McClellan, Alma (Raymond) Hetrick, Tammy (James) Strohm, and Clair (Gail) Weyant; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; and brothers: Hubert “Tip” Weyant, Norman (Judy) Weyant, and Ernest (Loretta) Weyant. He was a WW II Army veteran and was a retired home builder for T. L. Iseman Construction. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
