Donald Lee Stout, 79, Stoystown (Wilbur), died June 10, 2018 at home. Born Sept. 22, 1938 in Champion, son of James and Frances (Shawley) Stout. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 49 years the former Ruth Ann Rhoads, grandson Travis, brother Dallas “Doc” Stout, and sisters Carol “Toots” Kisamore and Lois “Tom” Sonafelt. Survived by children: Pamela Reed, Allison, Donald E. “Moby” and wife Sheri, Somerset, Ricky L. and wife Patricia, Wilbur, Anthony S. and wife Missy, Hollsopple, Bradley J., Waynesburg, and Beth Ann Beasley and husband David, La Plata, MD.; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters: Helen Naugle, Somerset, Patricia “Butch” (Robert) Stoppe, Jenners, and Debbie (Thomas) Yatsko, Slippery Rock; and brother Jimmy (Amy) Stout, Rockwood. He was a retired coal miner and a former North Star school bus driver. Member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and UMWA. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until service at 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Pastor Joseph Caola officiating.
