Dorothy Marie (Wirbick) Fulton

Dorothy Marie Fulton, 88, Friedens, died Nov. 26, 2017 at Somerset Hospital. Born March 18, 1929 in Kantner, daughter of Joseph and Rose (Packanyk) Wirbick. Preceded in death by parents, husband Elery, brother Fred Wirbick, and sisters: Helen Burkett and Irene Wirbick. Survived by her fiancé Roy Shockey, Friedens; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Stoystown High School. Former secretary at Forbes School District and H.J. Specht and Son Hardware, Stoystown. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown. She was an excellent seamstress, and loved planting her flower gardens and baking pies and cookies. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 2 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s U.C.C., Stoystown. Pastor Sharon Fox officiating. Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
