Eleanor Grace (Beachy) Brown

Eleanor Grace Brown, 86, Berlin, died June 2, 2018 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born May 6, 1932 in Salisbury, daughter of Roy and Grace (Petry) Beachy. Preceded in death by parents, husband William J., great grandchildren Colton Saylor and Laramee Ickes, and infant brother Peter. Survived by children: Kimberly married to Michael Saylor, Meyersdale, Heidi married to Dennis Walker, Mt. Pleasant, Heather married to James Stoy, Somerset, and William “Brad” Brown married to the former Lisa Paul, Garrett; grandchildren: Ryan (Tammy) Saylor, Brittany (Zachary) Ickes, Montgomery Walker, Megan and William Brady Brown; step grandchildren: Jessica (Roberto) Modelo, James (Ann) Stoy, Scott and Bryan Stoy; great grandchildren: Becca, Slayde, and Stone Saylor, Madison Nemeth, and Tadan Ickes; and Step great grandchildren: Robbie and Marco Modelo, Jake, Molly, Lucy, and Ethan Stoy. She was a devoted caregiver to many generations of her family. She was a graduate of Salisbury-Elk Lick High School, and former owner of Brown’s Hardware and Coalfield Mini Market in Berlin. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Keith Grimm officiating.
