Elmer Charles “June” Beeman, Jr., 75, Berlin, died Aug. 3, 2019 at home. Born Feb. 29, 1944 in Somerset, son of Elmer C. Sr. and Geneva (Brant) Beeman. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Mary Beeman and Nancy Bowser, and brother Roy Beeman. Survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Bonnie Sue Diest; sons: Elmer Charles III (Tammy), Michael (Malissa), and Steven (Jenna) Beeman, all of Berlin; grandchildren: Michael Jr., Marcus, Matthew, Mariah, Jensen, and Remington Beeman; 7 great grandchildren; sister Sandra (Charles) Gross Jr., AZ; and brothers: Roger (Nellie) Beeman, Stoystown, and Morris (Toni) Beeman, Berlin. He was a 1963 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a press operator for Coleman/Fleetwood Folding Trailers for 43 years. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and coached high school and AYSO soccer for 35 years. Lifetime member of VFW Post 7295, Berlin. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and race walking. The family would like to thank everyone at In Touch Hospice for their wonderful care.
