Gloria Jean Hollan

Gloria Jean Hollan, 77, Hooversville, died June 15, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born March 25, 1941 in Somerset, daughter of Lloyd and Florence Mary (Bowser) Shaver. Preceded in death by parents, and sister Evelyn Sheffler. Survived by husband of 51 years Joseph A. Hollan; sons: Patrick married to the former Leanna Chappie, Johnstown, and Scott married to the former Cindy Willkow, Somerset; grandchildren: Kaylee, Jonathan, Jessica, Jacob, and Leah Hollan, Renee (Joe) Wills, and Joshua, Caleb, Moriah, and James Proctor; great grandchildren: Haley, Hannah, Joey, and McKenna; and brothers: Kenneth (Clara) Shaver, Maryland, and Robert (Kay) Shaver, Florida. She was a 1959 graduate of Forbes High School and retired from Bestform, Richland. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching game shows, cooking, playing the card game Quiddler, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville. Rev. Ben Mandrick officiating.
