Gloria Specht Stetler, 94, passed away at The Arbors at Shelburne, Vermont on July 10, 2018. Gloria was born on January 13, 1924 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Lloyd and Nelle (Custer) Specht. She grew up in Stoystown, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Purdue University in 1945. She met Richard Stetler shortly after the war and lived in Stoystown until 1993, when they moved to Sun City Center, Florida. She and Dick were married for 49 years until his death in 1996. She is also predeceased by her sister, Helen. She is survived by her sons, Richard, and his wife Sherrie, Denver, PA, and Bradley, and his wife Susie Miller, Hinesburg, VT, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Gloria was an accomplished acrobatic dancer, studying under Gene Kelly. She loved to swim, travel and be a mother. She moved to Vermont in 2015. She retained her grace and wit until her death.
