Helen Kubas, 93, Hooversville, died July 26, 2019 at Siemon’s Lakeview Manor. Born Aug. 1, 1925 in Somerset, daughter of Frank and Anna (Mazur) Maluchnick. Preceded in death by parents, husband George, grandson Erik, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survived by these children: John and wife Rose, Westmont, Marg married to Joe Mikolich, Boswell, Greg, Hooversville, Rose married to Dennis Perigo, Thressa married to Bob Miller, and Phil and friend Wendi, all of Stoystown; grandchildren: John (Andrea) Kubas, Roxanne (Justin) Horner, Mike (Erin) Mikolich, Alyson (Tony) Retassie, Kevin (Erin) Perigo, Mandy (Paul) Martell, Ashley (Aaron) Kohr, Adam (Kim) Miller, Brooke (Josh) Hillegas, and Ryan Kubas; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She formerly enjoyed playing bingo and going to yard sales. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville where Vigil Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. Rev. Karl Kolodziejski OFM Conv. Celebrant. Committal church cemetery.
