Helen Mae (Monahan) Lopez

Helen Mae Lopez, 79, Racine, WI, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her home. She was born May 13, 1940 in Berlin, the daughter of the late Elmer and Leora (Smith) Monahan. She will be missed by her husband of 57 years, Angel, whom she married on May 5, 1962; sons, Joel Lopez of Tampa, FL, Dr. John (Jodi) Lopez of Racine, WI, and James (Robin) Lopez of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Amanda, James, Jack, Sarah, Abby, Carly, and Will, and her brother, Robert (Jane) Monahan of Columbus, OH. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Helen attended Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, Racine, WI. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and traveling. Above all else, Helen loved to spend time with her family. Family will receive friends Friday from 10:30 a.m. until service at 12 Noon at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Rev.
