James L. Fieg

James L. Fieg, 90, Friedens, died August 24, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born June 21, 1929 in Shawleytown, son of Harrison and Cora (Hay) Fieg. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Ruth Yoder, sons Rodney and Rodger, grandson Mark Keller, sisters Betty Dwire and Sarah Hansen, and brothers: Leo, Fred, Harry, Henry, and Jacob Fieg. Survived by children: Joyce (Bill) Burket, Janice (Duane) Keller, Beverly Thompson, and Randy Fieg, grandsons: Kurt and Bryan Burket, and Matthew Keller, and sister Elsie Mitchell. He was a retired stone mason and bricklayer. Member of Faith Lutheran Church and Local #9 of the B.A.C. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church. Rev.
