James Strohm Obituary

James Raymond Strohm, 65, Shanksville, died Aug. 31, 2018 at home. Born Feb. 7, 1953 in Greensburg, son of Rev. James and Lois (Zollars) Strohm. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Mary Jane Unger and Emily Strohm. Survived by his wife of 17 years, the former Tammy Weyant; daughter Heather (Chris) Reynolds, Boswell, sister Sue Strohm, Johnstown, niece Sarah (fiance Clint Carter) Thom and nephew Larry (Susan Ebberson) Thom. He was a graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School and was a custodian at the school. Member of Unity United Church of Christ, Berlin. He loved watching Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his family and his animals. There will be no viewing or services. Memorial contributions may be given to Unity UCC P.O.
