Jane Ann (Custer) Countryman Emerick

Jane Ann (Custer) Countryman Emerick, 60, of Garrett, died Sept. 26, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 11, 1957 in Meyersdale, daughter of Donald O. and Nancy (LaBute) Custer, of Berlin. Preceded in death by sister Joyce Custer, and first husband Kenneth Countryman. Survived by parents; husband David W. Emerick; son Alex (Christine) Countryman, Berlin; granddaughter Lily Countryman; step daughter Samantha Emerick and her daughters; and sister Jill (Glen) Wagner, Stoystown. She was a 1975 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and owner of Country Critters Dog Grooming. She enjoyed painting, knitting, sewing, cooking, being creative, and spending time with granddaughters. Her favorite place was the beach. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 6th, 2018 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating.
