Lorraine Isabelle (McVicker) Hollan

Lorraine Isabelle Hollan, 82, of Somerset formerly of Stoystown, died July 23, 2019 at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 19, 1936 in Stoystown, daughter of Harry Alvin and Vivian Ruth (Custer) McVicker. Preceded in death by parents, husband John Richard, sisters Dolly Jean Snyder and Charmaine Soha, and brother Harry McVicker Jr. Survived by daughter Lana Merringer; grandchildren: Tasha and Tess Merringer; great grandson Lorenzo Vamos; sister Janet Greathouse; brother Ray Allen (Florence) McVicker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Forbes High School. Life member of Kantner United Methodist Church, where she was an active member. She enjoyed crafting, bird watching, flower gardening, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3rd, at Kantner United Methodist Church. Rev. Rich Pearson officiating.
