Marlin R. Dively, 76, Friedens, died July 22, 2019 at home. Born Jan. 19, 1943 in Somerset, son of William Henry and Elenor Jean (Rankin) Dively. Preceded in death by parents and great grandson Liam William Dively. Survived by his wife of 55 years the former Hilda Kay Lowery; sons Daniel “Dink” (Susan) Dively, Friedens, and Michael (Sherry Colflesh) Dively, Somerset; granddaughters: Courtney Dively, Greensburg, and Lyndsey Dively, Friedens; brothers: William (Linda), Somerset, Robert (Donna), Mt. Pleasant, Jerry (Pat), Carlisle, Terry (Darlene), Friedens, David (Mary), NY, and George (Esther) Dively, Friedens; and sisters Lois (Charles) Moyer, VA, and Carol Cobb, GA. He was a graduate of Somerset High School. Former owner of Marlin Dively Car Store and a long time truck driver. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville, where he was an active member. He enjoyed antique cars, car cruises, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
