Mildred Evelyn (Lowndes) Miller

Mildred Evelyn Miller, 85, Berlin, died May 1, 2018 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born Sept. 25, 1932 in London, England, daughter of Thomas and Marie (Sykes)  Lowndes. Preceded in death by parents, son Jamie Miller, and sister Marie Reed. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Karl W.; son Gary W. (Kathy) Miller, Berlin; grandchildren: Tara (Aaron) Vancil, Cody (Miranda) Miller, and BreAnn (Dustin) DeWitt; and great grandchildren: McKenna, Hudson, Harper, and Elliotte Vancil, Maxton Miller, and Avery DeWitt. She was formerly employed at Newberry’s Dept. Store. She attended Roxbury Trinity United Church of Christ. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading and watching movies.There will be no visitation at Mildred’s request. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 14th at 10 a.m. at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Rev. Dr. Joseph Beer officiating. Inurnment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
