Nancy Jean (Davis) Markley

Nancy Jean Markley, 80, of Boswell, died May 27, 2018 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Nov. 7, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Geraldine (Campbell) Davis.

Survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald G. Markley; children: Daniel married to the former Marilyn Kris, Johnstown, Dana married to Scott Beegle, Central City, Heidi Henry, New London, NC, and Melissa married to Addam Pristas, Stoystown; 10 grandchildren; a great grandson due in July; sisters: Barbara (Terry) Felix, Seward, and Kathy (Phillip) Shipman, Port Townsend, WA; and brother: David (Cindy) Davis, Johnstown.

She was a graduate of Johnstown High School and Cambria Rowe Business School. Former employee of Hiram Swank Refractories, and retired from Somerset Area Agency on Aging. Member of Reading Grace Brethren Church, Stoystown. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and baking bread and sharing it with others.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Larry Weigle officiating.
