Patrick Joseph Fochtman

Patrick Joseph Fochtman, 57, Berlin, died Aug. 29, 2018 at home. Born Jan. 17, 1961 in New Baltimore, son of Joseph and Rose (O’Brien) Fochtman. Preceded in death by parents, brother Edward Fochtman, half brother Roy Fochtman, and brother-in-law Donald Van Gilder. Survived by sisters and brothers: Elaine (Harold) Landis, Berlin, Henry Fochtman, New York, Catherine (Ronald) Parrish, Bernard Fochtman, Patricia Fochtman, Dolores Van Gilder, all of Berlin, Ronald Fochtman, Conn., half sister Betty O’Brien, Charleroi, half brother Wayne Fochtman, Berlin, sister-in-law Nancy Fochtman Landis, Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1980 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and worked as a farm hand. He enjoyed card night with his family, farming, and racing. There will be no viewing or service.
