On behalf of my mother Ferne , Joanne and I would like to express our
condolences on the passing of your mother. Mom's health, both physical and mental, prevented her from being able to make the trip from Michigan. Again you have our sympathy on Aunt Pearl's passing. God Bless.

Your mother will always be Mrs. Black to me. I remember her going to the canteen at Maple Mountain Manor and getting her chips from Mrs. Ellis and going into the office to eat them. She taught me a lot over the years being my supervisor. The most important thing I remember is that your mother wanted the beds made the right way with the mitered corners and she never would let you get away with just throwing up the sheets on the bed like now. She was a woman full of great knowledge. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of your lost.

I am so sorry for your loss. Pearl was an amazing person and I'm glad I got to know her these past couple years. She was always kind and thankful for anything I would do for her. (Especially when I would open her potato chips.) She made my day she would always say I'm so glad to see you. Pearl was definitely one of my favorites and she will be missed. I just want to thank you her family for giving me the chance to know her. She is watching over you all you ment the world to her.
