Ronald P. Groft, 68, Fairhope, died Jan. 5, 2018 at home. Born May 15, 1949 in Somerset, son of Paul and Dorothy (Delancey) Groft. Preceded in death by father and brother, Larry. Survived by his mother of Fairhope; sisters: Bonnie Wilson, Mt. Pleasant, NC, Donna Groft, Hamilton, NJ, and Deborah Versnel, Wichita, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union and the Princeton Rod and Gun Club. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tues. at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wed. Rev. William Dodson officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairhope.
