Stanley Clyde Naugle, 83 of Stoystown passed away at home with his loving wife and daughter by his side on August 5, 2019. Born July 27, 1936 in Hollsopple, son of Lloyd E. and Edna (Dempsey) Naugle. Preceded in death by parents and brothers James and Robert. Survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Donna Jean Berkebile and daughter Lori. Also survived by sisters Miriam Grazier of Franklin, NC and Janet (Fred) Berzinsky, Johnstown, 10 nieces and 10 nephews. He was a 1954 graduate of Forbes High School and served in the U.S. Army. Retired after 38 years from Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown. Member of Stoystown American Legion, Hooversville V.F.W., Somerset F.O.E. and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. He was a loving husband and father who greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing poker with his buddies, and was known for his great sense of humor. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Chaplain Stephanie Betsa officiating.
