Telford Lloyd Hagans Sr., 94, Stoystown, died Sept. 11, 2019 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born Aug. 19, 1925 in Shade Twp., son of Russell and Annie (Croyle) Hagans. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Juanita Geary, granddaughters: Marlana Sarver and Juanita Martin, sisters: Eva Tasker and Ethel Berringer, and brothers Melvin and Ronald Hagans. Survived by these children: Ruth Stump, New Florence, Telford Jr. married to the former Dixie Walker, Somerset, and Russell married to the former Marsha Huff, Hollsopple; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister Ruth Chase, Florida; and friend and caregiver for 16 years Marian Wiltrout. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. Retired coal miner, truck driver, and auto mechanic. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until final prayer at 3 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
