Telford O. Walker, 89, Boswell, died Sept. 30, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Born May 1, 1930 in Stonycreek Twp., son of Clarence and Ethel (Baughman) Walker. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Ethel St. Clair, an infant son, son Wayne, daughter Sharon Evans, brothers: Alvin, Blair, and Carl Walker, and sisters: Marian Walker and Carol Evans. Survived by children: Ruth (Doc) Blair, Janet (Blair) Shockey, Theresa (Todd) Becker, Lisa (Brett) Hendren, and Telford “Buck” II; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Donald Walker; and sisters: Elizabeth Custer, Kathleen Frombaugh, Patricia Nazak, Eleanor Stutzman, and Marie Mort. He was a graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, a Korean War Army Veteran, and a retired Milk Hauler. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, where he was a very active member. He was an avid golfer, and a Steelers and Penn State fan. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
