Thomas Smith Bittner, 63, of Fairhope, died Oct. 28, 2017 at home. Born Mar. 27, 1954 in McKeesport, son of Betty (Smith) Bittner, Berlin, and the late Fay C. Bittner. Survived by mother; brothers: Douglas, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Jeffrey, Berlin; nephews: Eric and Andrew; and niece Ashley. He was a 1972 graduate of East Allegheny High School and retired from U.S. Steel Edgar Thompson Plant, Braddock. Member of New Baltimore Sportsmans Club, Somerset Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Berlin Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Sam Coughenour officiating. Interment Mt.
