Walter E. Felgar, Jr.

Walter E. Felgar, Jr., 75, of Roaring Spring, formerly of Berlin, died Oct. 22, 2018 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. Born Oct. 7, 1943 in Greensburg, son of Walter Sr. and Mary (Mertz) Felgar. Preceded in death by parents, and son Eric. Survived by his wife of 39 years the former Patricia Mobley; children: Jay and Scott Felgar; and three grandchildren. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. He retired as a track inspector for CSX Railroad. Life member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Posts in Ligonier. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating.
