Wayne Elmer Mostoller, 71, Friedens, died Jan. 10, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born Jan. 13, 1948 in Somerset, son of Elmer and Hazel (Shuck) Mostoller. Preceded in death by his father and brother James. Survived by his mother, of Friedens (Coleman Station), sons Thomas (Katey) Mostoller, Florida, and Michael (Courtney) Mostoller, Manassas, VA, grandchildren: Jeffrey (Caitlin), Tyler, Skylar, Keeley, Riley, and Braden, great grandchildren Sophia and Aubree, sister Patricia (Paul) Martin, Johnstown, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1965 graduate of Jenner-Boswell Joint High School and was a US Army Vietnam War era veteran. He was retired from the CIA after 40 years. Member of Stoystown American Legion, Hooversville VFW, and Jerome Polish Falcons. He enjoyed music and volunteering as a DJ. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Select Specialty Hospital for the excellent care they provided for the last two months. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church, where a Legion service will be held at 6 p.m. Additional viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m Wednesday at the church.
